Designed for standard 750 ml wine bottles, this Bottle Riddling Cage supports automated riddling in compatible gyropalette equipment. The shaped steel slats at the base support and position the bottle necks, helping transfer load contact to the stronger bottle body. A detachable front door allows access for loading when containers are stacked. Two adjustable upper half-doors help hold bottles in position during the rotation cycle. The cage can also be folded flat for empty storage and return transport, helping reduce the space needed for empty units.

Application
This Bottle Riddling Cage is used for standard sparkling wine production during secondary fermentation. After filling, workers load bottles into the cage for automated remuage cycles on compatible gyropalettes. After riddling, the same container can move to the ageing cellar for horizontal bottle storage. This reduces the need to transfer bottles between separate containers and helps keep stock organised from riddling through to disgorging.
