Post pallet stillages are commonly used in floor storage areas where pallet loads need to be stacked without permanent pallet racking systems. The post structure allows multiple loaded units to be stacked vertically, with upper loads supported by the steel posts rather than the goods below.

Loaded units can be lifted, stacked, and repositioned by forklift while allowing loaded units to be moved individually when unstacked. Post pallet stillages are frequently used for palletized cartons, metal parts, and industrial components, and other palletized products stored in warehouse rows.
