Using this wire frame structure allows you to move and store individual palletized loads without merging different goods into a single large pile. The wire frame sits on the pallet perimeter, creating a rigid enclosure that keeps the cargo within its own defined footprint. Because the top Z channel rail provides a level surface for the next pallet, each unit in the stack remains a separate entity. This allows a forklift operator to remove one specific unit from the middle or top of the stack while the remaining units stay contained and organized.

The process begins by loading a specific SKU onto an individual 1200x800mm pallet and securing the wire frame around it. This Stacking Pallet Cages setup creates a separate storage unit. A forklift then places this unit into a vertical stack; the pallet base of the upper unit sits directly on the top Z channel rails of the cage below. Each cage in the stack holds a different batch of goods, kept separate by wire mesh. When a specific batch is needed, the forklift operator removes the entire unit as one piece. The remaining cages in the stack stay in position, maintaining their own containment. If only a few items are needed, staff can open the half-drop gate of the selected unit and retrieve the goods. Once empty, the frame can be folded or moved, and the warehouse layout can be re-arranged without having to sort through an unorganized pile of mixed cargo.
