Briefly Describe The Galvanizing Process On The Surface Of The Storage Cage
One of the commonly used storage cages on the market is the galvanized storage cage, that is, the surface of the storage cage is galvanized. Galvanizing refers to the surface solution technology that is coated with a layer of zinc on the surface of aluminum alloy, metal materials or other raw materials for anti-rust treatment and beautiful appearance. The key selection methods are hot-dip galvanizing and water-cooled heat-dissipating galvanizing.

Zinc is soluble in acid and can also dissolve alkali, so it is called amphoteric metal. Zinc basically does not change in dry air. The standard electrode potential of zinc is -0.76V. As far as the steel is concerned, the zinc coating belongs to the anodic oxidation coating. It is mainly used to avoid the corrosion of the steel. The quality of its protective properties is related to the thickness of the coating. In the humid and cold air, the zinc surface will be transformed into a high-density basic zinc carbonate film. In environments containing sulfur dioxide, hydrogen chloride and its marine environment, zinc has weak corrosion resistance. In environments containing organic acids in high temperature and high humidity, the zinc coating is easily etched. After the zinc coating is passivated, dyed or coated with a light protectant on the stainless steel, its protective power and decorative arts can be increased.
