HM Group Introduces The Innovation Committee To Turn Ideas Into Action

HM Group has established three internal committees-the Learning Committee, Innovation Committee and Happiness Committee-to support the company's continued development. Recently, Berry, who is responsible for the Innovation Committee, gave an open presentation to explain why the committee was created and how employees can take part.

Innovation Can Start With Any Employee

In Berry's presentation, innovation was not limited to developing new technology or products. Improving a work process, reducing repetitive tasks, making communication clearer or finding a better way to serve customers can also be an innovation.

At the individual level, employees can improve their own working methods. At the department level, ideas may help sales, production, quality, purchasing and logistics work together more smoothly. At the company level, proposals can address product development, customer service, production management or new market requirements.

For HM Group's business, innovation can also appear in Wire Containers, Pallet Cages, Stackable Racks, Roll Containers and other material handling equipment-whether through product structure, production methods or how equipment is matched to customer applications.

From an Idea to Practical Action

The Innovation Committee is intended to provide a path for ideas to move beyond discussion:

Identify a problem → Submit an idea → Review and evaluate → Plan implementation → Execute and track → Summarize and share

The committee will consider whether an idea addresses a real problem, is practical to implement, requires appropriate resources and can create measurable value. Not every proposal will be implemented immediately, but useful ideas can be tested, improved and potentially applied more widely.

Making Innovation Part of Daily Work

For employees, the committee creates a formal channel to share observations and practical improvements. For HM Group, these ideas can contribute to better collaboration, more efficient work, stronger customer service and continued business development.

Innovation does not always begin with a major change. Sometimes it starts with a small improvement noticed during everyday work. By collecting, reviewing and acting on these ideas, HM Group aims to turn individual observations into practical improvements for the company and its customers.
