Custom spacing keeps 1.5L Magnum bottles stable through automated riddling. The Magnum Bottle Riddling Cage is custom-designed based on your bottle layout, so each slot matches the bottle diameter and support points. Bottom contoured steel slats structured to harmonize with and secure bottle necks, while the bottle body is supported in the grid. Adjustable upper half-covers hold larger bottles in position during turning. A detachable front door gives operators open access for loading and unloading. Its heavy-duty layout supports up to 800 kg, helping wineries handle large-format bottles with more control.

Magnum Bottle Riddling Cage can be developed around your actual bottle drawing. Our Bottle Layout CAD service reviews bottle diameter, height, neck position, and contact points before the internal grid is made. The upper cover adjustment range can also be extended for taller bottles or different closure heights. For movement between filling, storage, and riddling areas, a forklift channel can be added.
Application
The Magnum Bottle Riddling Cage is suited to 1.5L sparkling wines, prestige cuvée programs, half bottles, and special bottle formats. Bottles can remain in the custom internal layout during aging on lees, then move to automated riddling for sediment collection. The custom bottle positions help control larger bottle weight during turning. After riddling, the same unit can be moved to a dedicated cellar area for organized storage and handling, reducing unnecessary transfers between production steps.
