HM Group Yunnan Team Trip: Six Days Of Culture And Renewal

From January 24th to 29th, HM Group organized a six-day team trip to Yunnan Province, bringing together 31 colleagues on a journey filled with culture, nature, and shared experiences. Traveling by plane, the team explored some of Yunnan's most iconic destinations, including the Stone Forest Scenic Area, the Santorini-themed resort, Dali Ancient City, Erhai Lake, Lijiang Ancient City, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and the breathtaking Blue Moon Valley.

One of the most memorable moments of the trip was the challenge at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Nearly half of the team pushed beyond their comfort zones and successfully climbed to an altitude of 4,680 meters. This experience reflected the same determination and teamwork that guide our daily work, whether we are designing Galvanized Storage Containers or optimizing stacking pallet racks for warehouse clients.

The journey was also a deep dive into Yunnan's rich food culture. Colleagues enjoyed mushroom hotpot, Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles, and a variety of traditional ethnic banquets, including Sani Welcome Banquets, Yi Ethnic Long Street Banquets, Nanjian Intangible Cultural Heritage Dancing Dishes, and Bai ethnic specialty meals. Ethnic costume experiences added another layer of fun and cultural understanding.

Throughout the trip, professional local guides shared insights into regional customs, traditions, and history, helping everyone connect more closely with the places visited. Now back at work, the team feels refreshed and motivated, ready to return to daily projects with renewed energy and focus.
