Pallet racking wire decks provide support between standard step beams. In one storage area, wooden pallets, and crates may have different base sizes. Some bases do not fully rest on both beams. The wire mesh supports the container base across the rack level and reduces unsupported areas. U-channel supports the beam step and carries the deck load to the beams. This helps keep the container level when a forklift places it slightly forward or back. The deck does not replace correct pallet placement or rack inspection.
